Dear All,
I am so pleased to introduce the creation of the UST Global Foundation (“Foundation”). The Foundation is an extension of the UST Global Corporate Social Responsibility strategy and will allow us to carry out our mission of Transforming Lives throughout the US.
UST Global has a long standing commitment to community service and establishing partnerships with key nonprofit organizations in the areas of health, education and the environment. The Foundation will allow us to work with our key partners to determine how we can help meet their goals and objectives to have an even greater impact in the community. The Foundation will not be a check writing fund but an opportunity to collaborate with nonprofits to bring about sustainable social change.
The Foundation will also support the expansion of our hallmark program, Adopt-A-Village which started in February 2009 with the village Azhinjivakkam in the Red Hills, Chennai. The program includes regular medical camps, school supplies, computer teaching, sewing kits with job training and more. The expansion of Adopt-A-Village is a priority for the Foundation and will include additional villages, programs and services. Bringing the Adopt-A-Village framework to the US will allow our associates to focus in one area around
several initiatives.
With the talent and passion of our associates the Foundation will
continue to grow and impact the lives of women and children in the
communities UST Global has a footprint in the US.

Transform Lives.
